The Office on Violence Against Women will host the 20th Annual Government-to-Government Tribal Consultation on Violence Against American Indian and Alaska Native Women later this year on October 28-30 in Prior Lake, Minnesota. This annual consultation provides an opportunity for elected Tribal Leaders or their designees to offer recommendations on improving the federal response to violence against Native women. In this role, you will be responsible for collating and verifying data from multiple sources, reviewing existing databases and data storage systems for efficacy and efficiency, assisting with implementing data software storage systems and executing data transfers. STTARS at the National Tribal Housing Justice Summit!
The STTARS Indigenous Safe Housing Center recently hosted a powerful National Tribal Housing Justice Summit in Albuquerque, New Mexico, bringing together Tribal advocates, housing experts, and leaders from across the country. Over two days, participants shared strategies, traditional knowledge, and policy solutions to advance housing justice for survivors and Tribal communities.
