November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to honor the strength, beauty, and sovereignty of Native peoples across generations. At the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, we provide national leadership to advance safety for Native women and communities by supporting culturally grounded grassroots advocacy. Tribal Nations continue to lead powerful work grounded in traditional teachings that protect our land, strengthen our families, and build safer futures. Take action: Honor Native wisdom, support Native services, invest in Native futures, and believe Native survivors!
NIWRC is seeking lived experiences to help guide our advocacy, strengthen programs, and uplift survivors. This project provides a safe way to share your stories through anonymous written narratives. By using your voice, you help create future policy and resources that reflect the realities and needs of Native communities. Examples may include lessons learned, challenges faced, and successes achieved. To ensure safety, submissions are anonymous—no identifying information will be shared.
