November 2023

Join us in celebrating (Twitter Post)

November is Native American Heritage Month (NAHM)

Our own, Gwen Packard, is featured in USA TODAY for helping the US recognize NAHM!

Throughout history, Indian Country has faced colonial policies aiming to diminish Indigenous communities. From the doctrine of discovery to ongoing challenges, Native American Heritage Month reminds us to honor and respect Native voices beyond mere discovery. We recognize our Tribes as sovereign entities with the authority to self-govern, protecting our lands, traditions, languages, economies, and the safety of our women and children. Join us and many others in celebrating Native American Heritage Month!

Thank you to everyone for joining us for DVAM 2023!

Podcast EP. 30 Kaysera, Four Years Later

#JusticeForKaysera www.justiceforkaysera.org

Kaysera Stops Pretty Places went missing in 2019 at 18 years old. Five days later, her body was found near a busy thoroughfare. Fourteen days later, her family was notified. No investigation occurred. In this episode, we focus on Kaysera’s family. They have been organizing events for the past 4 years to bring awareness and ask for help in solving her case. This is a unique situation. It’s about what happens when you can’t rely on law enforcement. Listen on our website or anywhere you get your podcasts.
